Estos días rodeados de festivos, celebraciones y para muchos, vacaciones (yo como buen autónomo, me comeré unas cuantas horas extras navideñas no pagadas) es un tiempo ideal para todos aquellos que no tenéis tiempo para pintar de normal, apureis unas horitas de pintura para digerir esas suculentas comidas que parecen preparadas para el mismisimo Gluttos Orscollion (el personaje de los hedonitas de Slaanesh sentado en un trono que pinte a principios de año...)
En todo caso, yo aprovecho la ocasión y mi escape entre comidas, para informaros también por esta vía, que por fin, tras muchas, muchísimas peticiones, ya está operativo mi página de Patreon, que empezará su ciclo mensual de contenido a partir del 1 de Enero de 2025. Si quieres ver tutoriales en PDF y video de lo que estoy trabajando actualmente, asi como piezas para mi propia coleccion, ese es tu sitio, con un gran enfoque en ejército de Wargame y piezas de exposicion y competición (será este el año de mi primer Golden...solo Tzeentch lo sabe).
Por otro lado, y llegando a la recta final de año os traigo algunas cositas que he pintado, como por ejemplo el bueno de Ahriman surfeando la disformidad, siempre me gustó de sobremanera esta figura, y ya es la segunda versión que pinto, con parecidos razonables con su primera versión y algunos cambios, podéis encontrar parte del proceso en Instagram y alguna cosita en Patreon.
Por otro lado y para ir terminando he aprovechado para intentar terminar el busto que pinté durante el curso que hice con Erik Swinson en la academía de Marc Masclans en Barcelona, tras muchos años sin invertir en mi eduación pinturil, fue un soplo de aire fresco y una buena dosis de información útil de cara a trabajar el año que viene.
Poco mas amigos lectores, que si habéis llegado hasta aquí, os lo agradezco, ya que al final esto no deja de ser, o intentará ser, mi rincón dónde dejar mis pensamientos y cositas del hobby que voy haciendo. Gracias.
Por otro lado, podéis esperar que Junio o Julio, o cuando salga... voy a estar pintando al bueno de Fulgrim para Warhammer 40k.... ya veremos si mis hijos de la Medusa vuelven a la mesa de pintura.

These days, surrounded by holidays, celebrations, and for many, vacations (as a good freelancer, I'll be putting in a few extra unpaid Christmas hours), it's an ideal time for those of you who don’t normally have time to paint to squeeze in a few hours of painting to digest those sumptuous meals that seem prepared for none other than Gluttos Orscollion (the character from the Hedonites of Slaanesh sitting on a throne, which I painted at the beginning of the year...).
In any case, I’m taking advantage of the occasion and my escape between meals to inform you here as well that, finally, after many, many requests, my Patreon page is up and running. It will begin its monthly content cycle starting January 1, 2025. If you want to see PDF and video tutorials of what I’m currently working on, as well as pieces for my personal collection, this is the place for you, with a strong focus on wargaming armies and exhibition and competition pieces (will this be the year of my first Golden Demon... only Tzeentch knows).
On another note, as we approach the end of the year, I’m sharing some things I’ve painted, like the good old Ahriman surfing the warp. I’ve always been particularly fond of this figure, and this is already the second version I’ve painted, with reasonable similarities to the first version and some changes. You can find part of the process on Instagram and some bits on Patreon.
Additionally, to wrap things up, I’ve taken the chance to try finishing the bust I painted during the course I took with Erik Swinson at Marc Masclans’ academy in Barcelona. After many years without investing in my painting education, it was a breath of fresh air and a great dose of useful information to prepare for next year’s work.
